Kassandra is a Texas native and has lived all over the state, from El Paso to Houston. Austin has been her home since attending school at UT Austin, where she received her Bachelor's degree in Psychology. Growing up, her friends would always call her the "therapist" of the group. Throughout her years as a non-profit volunteer, Kassandra realized that her natural inclinations as a listener and caretaker could be beneficial in a one-to-one setting. Thus, Kassandra earned her Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Liberty University. Kassandra aims to create a space where clients feel safe to share their story. She believes that every client's cultural background, hurts, strengths, and needs are unique. Therefore, collaboration is key to the therapeutic relationship. Her hope is that clients leave therapy with a rewritten story filled with resilience, hope, and healing! Outside of the counseling chair, you can find Kassandra at a local coffee shop, walking the trails, or playing her Nintendo Switch.

I have a passion for assisting others in their journey of healing from within. Life experiences can bring about many feelings and emotions that may make it difficult to show one’s true self, I am here to help one navigate through those life experiences and aide in the healing process.

I have experience in working with those who have experienced difficulties with life transitions, trauma, anxiety, and depression. I also enjoy working with those whose overall goal is to maintain a healthy mental well-being.
